Adobe's FrameMaker takes your word processing skills to the next level. FrameMaker is an authoring and publishing software used extensively for technical publications. 

This course is ideal for those wishing to branch out into technical writing and documentation.

==Prerequisites==
You will need to be fluent in word processing in applications such as [[Word_2007| Microsoft Word]]. Familiarity with desktop publishing is very helpful.

FrameMaker 8.0 or 9.0 is required for this course. If you wish to take this course at home to prepare for work you may consider using the 30-day trial version available from [http://www.adobe.com/products/framemaker/ Adobe]. Please note that the latest version of Framemaker is 9.0.
